Jasna Radonjic, artistic administrator and producer

Jasna Radonjic is an artistic administrator and producer with over ten years of experience working for large, mid-sized, and small arts and educational organizations in New York City. From 2001 to 2007 she was Executive Director of the American Composers Alliance (ACA), one of the oldest organizations for professional composers, servicing over 250 members nationwide. At the ACA, Ms. Radonjic managed all aspects of publishing a collection of 10,000 musical manuscripts. Under her direction, ACA inaugurated a festival of American music in 2003, which developed into a major new New York City music event. During the following four years, the festival grew to present over 35 composers and 80 performers from across the country, mostly premiering new works, including several large-scale chamber works and a full-length opera by the acclaimed composer John Eaton. From its beginnings, the festival drew critical attention and was reviewed annually by the New York Times, New Music Connoisseur, and other publications. Ms. Radonjic also has extensive freelance experience as a tour manager, producer, and artistic administrator for various organizations, including the International Sejong Soloists, the Absolute Ensemble, and David Krakauer. She is currently the producer and artistic director for Ensemble Π. Ms. Radonjic gained her permanent residency in the United States in the category of extraordinary ability and national interest, based on her applied musicological and administrative work in preserving, fostering, and promoting American music. Ms. Radonjic holds a Master’s Degree in Musicology from New York University and a Master’s Degree in Music and Theater Studies from Copenhagen University, Denmark.
